Ms.
Gaela Bailey, an associate of Higgs & Johnson, is a
member of the Investment Funds team.
Ms.
Bailey specialises in the formation, operation and
restructuring of alternative investment funds and
vehicles including trusts,
partnerships and Cayman companies. In addition, she
advises the firm's financial services clients on
matters relating to the conduct of business,
licensing and regulatory reporting and approvals in
the Cayman Islands.
Ms.
Bailey also advises on general corporate
matters, including restructurings, mergers and
acquisitions and corporate governance.
Ms.
Bailey has over 10 years experience in a broad range
of corporate and compliance matters and has
significant privacy and data protection expertise. She trained in
the London office of Sidley Austin, before
practising as counsel in the corporate department of
a leading Washington based law firm Crowell &
Moring. Prior to joining Higgs & Johnson in 2011, she worked
as in house counsel for Credit Suisse in Grand
Cayman, where she gained valuable insight into
Cayman's investment funds industry. |
